【摘要】:Nonvolatilematterdeterminationisusefulasaqualitycontroltest,whenusedinconjunctionwithothertests,toassurespecificationcompliance.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofnonvolatilematter(totalsolids)inawater-emulsion,organicsolvent-basedliquidandpastefloorpolishes,andpolymer-emulsion-typefloorpolishes.1.2Thistestmethodrecognizesthattheproductsmaycontainmaterialthatwillslowlyvolatilizeorchangechemicallywitharesultingchangeinweightofthenonvolatilematter.Therefore,sincedryingtoconstantweightisimpractical,specificdryingtimeshavebeenselected.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
