【摘要】:Aheatmeteriscomposedofthreeparts,aflowsensor,atemperaturesensorpairandacalculator.Thecalculatorisaunitwhichcalculatesvolumesandenergyconsumptionusingthevaluesfromthetemperaturesensorsandtheflowsensor.ThemostcommontypeoftemperaturesensorisaresistancethermometerofplatinumtypePt100,Pt500orPt1000.Thesensorsmeasurethetemperaturedifferencebetweentheincomingandoutgoingliquid.Theflowsensorisprobablythemosttroublesomeassemblyoftheheatmeter.Despiteanaccuracyrequirementofonly4-10%itisveryeasytofalloutsidetheselimits.Inordertocountertheseeffectsasfaraspossible,therefollowsasummaryofthevarioustypesofflowsensorandtheiradvantagesanddisadvantages.Thesizingofmeterstomatchtheirrequireddutyfrequentlyturnsouttohavebeenincorrectlyestimatedwhentheheatingplantcommencesoperation.Inmostcasesheatmetersthataretoolargefortheireventualdutyarespecifiedandaccuracyatlowloadsuffersasaresult.Whilstthispaperwillgivesomeguidanceonessentials,itisfeltthatmoreinformationonthistopicwouldbewelcomed.Heatmeteraccuraciesattimesofrapidlychangingheatdemandareunlikelytobehigh.Whilstattimesoflowdemandtheeffectofmeterinaccuracyintermsoflostrevenueislikelytobesmall,rapidchangesinvolvinghighdemandsonthenetworkmaypossiblyhaveimportantimplicationsinlostrevenueifmeterreactiontorapidchangesisslow.Researchintothesubjectseemstohavebeenlargelyneglectedsofar.ThemostcommonlyusedtypesofflowsensorshavebeenlistedinAnnexBandtheeffectonaccuracyofdifferenttypesofdisturbancesforeachofthelistedtypesofflowsensorsareconsidered.Thereislittleinformationontheeffectsofflowandflowdisturbancesontheservicelifeoftheflowsensor,asdistinctfromitseffectonthesensor’saccuracy.Tobewelcomed,therefore,isthelongtermresearchprojectonthistopicinitiatedinGermanywhichshouldresultinusefuldata.
