【摘要】:TestMethodD4776forthedeterminationoftheH-testadhesionofreinforcingcordstorubbercompoundsmaybeusedfortheacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofreinforcingcordsbutcautionisadvisedsinceinformationaboutbetween-laboratoryprecisionisincomplete.Comparativetestsasdirectedin5.1.1maybeadvisable.IncasesofdisputearisingfromthedifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingTestMethodD4776foracceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisstatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimenswhichareashomogeneousaspossibleandwhicharefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudent''st-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforetestingbegins.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinlightoftheknownbias.Thistestmethodisusedtomeasuretheforcerequiredtoextractthecordfromarubbercompoundtestblock.Thistestmethodisdesignedtotesttheadhesionoftextilesthatarebondedtorubbercompounds.Variablesthatmaycontributetodifferencesinresultsofthistestmethodincludeadhesivetype,adhesiveapplicationprocedure,adhesivecure,fibertype,constructionofcords,rubbertype,rubbercure,andrubberthickness.Thedeleteriouseffectofozoneincombinationwithatmosphericmoistureontheabilityofadhesivestobondwithrubberrequiresassiduousprotectionofcordspriortoembedment.Theexpectedrangeofvalueswhichcharacterizeacceptableadhesioncanbedeterminedinanycord-rubbercombinationwithexperience.Forthisreason,thepurchasernormallyestablishesaminimumlevelofadhesiontobeobtainedbythesupplierineitherthesupplier''slaboratoryorthepurchaser''slaboratoryusingeitherthesupplier''sstandardrubbercompoundorthepurchaser''srubbercompound.AnotherprocedurefortestingadhesionofcordstorubbercompoundsisTestMethodsD4393.Thisprocedurehasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforacceptancetesting.Resultsobtainedbythismethodcannotbeusedinterchangeablysincethereisnooverallcorrelationbetweenthem.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofadhesionofreinforcingcordsthatarebondedtorubbercompounds.Thistestmethodisapplicabletotextilecordstructuresfrombothnaturalandmanmadefibers,otherthansteel.Foradhesiontestingofsteeltirecords,refertoTestMethodD2229.1.2Thistestmethodisprimarilyusedtoevaluatetirecords,usingasuitabletirecordadhesiveandasuitablerubbercompound.Thistestmethodisalsousedtoevaluate(1)tirecordadhesives,and(2)theprocessofadhesivereactiononthecordusingoneconsistentformoftirecordandoneconsistentrubbercompound.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoevaluatecordsinindustrialhoseandbeltingproductsandothercordreinforcedrubberproducts.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyofthe......
