【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsonthestructureofbuilt-inandfree-standingkitchenunits,worktopsandbreakfastbarsincludingthosewithglassintheirconstruction.Itappliestounitsafterinstallation.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytocateringequipment.However,safety,dependingonthestructureofthebuilding,isnotincluded,e.g.thestrengthofwallhangingcabinetsincludesonlythecabinetanditsparts.Thewallandthewallattachmentarenotincluded.Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementstopreventseriousinjurythroughnormalfunctionaluse,aswellasmisusethatmightreasonablybeexpectedtooccur.Itshouldbeunderstoodthatthetestsdonotensurethatstructuralfailurewillnoteventuallyoccurasaresultofhabitualmisuseorafteranexcessivelylongperiodofservice.Assessmentofageing,degradationandtheheatingeffectofappliancesarenotincludednoraretheergonomicaspectsofsafetyandresistancetofire.
